Why Choose Fayerweather?
DEIB at FSS
Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives at Fayerweather have been a part of our mission since our founding. This work continues to be present in our classrooms, across our curriculum, and throughout our community.
We use an online application process. Once you have completed the inquiry form a username and temporary password will be created. This will allow you to log in and begin the application.
Click here to begin an application for the 2023-2024 school year. Our online application system includes the parent/guardian statement and subsequent checklist items.
Please note, teacher recommendations and transcripts are due to the office no later than January 13, 2023. We prefer items to be updated through the application portal.
The non-refundable application fee is $50. Fee waiver codes are available - please reach out to us if you would like one!
Applications for tuition assistance for the 2023-2024 school year will be available online through School and Student Services (SSS) and due no later than February 1, 2023. Please note SSS also asks for additional financial documentation, such as tax returns and W-2 forms.
Please be aware that our financial aid budget is typically distributed by the end of April.
All PreK -2nd grade applicants and parents will be invited to participate in grade level screenings. During these sessions, children will be asked to participate in a variety of activities that will help us get to know them. Parents will be given the opportunity to ask questions related to Fayerweather’s curriculum and school life.
3rd-8th grade visits will include time with classroom teachers across various disciplines as well as an academic assessment.
These visits are designed to begin building connections as well as conduct individual assessments. We will inform you of your screening date by mid-January.
Please note: In an effort to support an equitable admission process, Fayerweather does not require standardized testing as part of the admissions process. All 6th-8th grade applicants will be given a writing prompt to complete at the time of their visit.
Decision letters will be mailed on March 10, 2023. Families will have until April 10, 2023 to submit their enrollment contract and deposit to secure a space for the fall.
