The Unit science class has been exploring how to show data through graphs in a spreadsheet. In order to collect enough data to do this, all Unit students carried out the same experiment at home on their families and compiled the data into one Google Sheet.
The experiment tested how accurately people could match an amount of water (eight ounces) already poured into a tall narrow glass when they poured water into a shorter, wider glass. Adding participants’ ages was optional. Below are some of the different ways students graphed that information, as well as some bonus graphs that we used for practice.
