Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr.

Graciela’s 3-5^th grade Spanish classes sang an energetic rendition of Paz. Following that, AD, EN, and the Unit members reported on their cooking and delivery of dishes to Friday Café. Ingleed’s Unit African dance elective performed a celebratory dance from Mali called Samalobe by Abdoulaye Diabate. The KOC showed off their banner and t-shirt design they had been working on. And to close out, CS & ML sang We Shall Overcome by Charles Albert Tindley, and Back of the Bus by Charles Neblett and the Freedom Singers.
