I wish I had appreciated these moments more when I was experiencing them, but I like everyone, I assumed I had the rest of the year to make the “important” memories. I had no way of knowing it would all end so abruptly, and I now realize how much fun I was having because I am not having that now. While these memories might not be about big moments, they were all times of friendship, happiness, and the feeling of belonging to a community at Fayerweather. In ten years from now I may not remember all of the details but I will remember how they made me feel. So try to remember all of the positive moments in your day because those are the most important in life.
