When the graduates were in Kindergarten, Julie wrote a song for them to sing to the graduating eighth graders. The song has become a part of the FSS songbook and now the PreK pass it back to the original singers.
Gifts from the Kindergarten
The Kindness Rock has been a Kindergarten tradition for many years. It still is. This poem will help you remember what kindness is all about - like kindness is things you say, and things you don't say. And kindness is love.
Gifts from the 1/2
Who doesn't need a little advice sometimes? The first and second graders are happy to pass on what they've learned this year. "If you make a mistake, keep going and change it into something great!"
Gifts from the 3/4
The third and fourth graders learned about flags this year, their symbols and colors. They gave each of you a celebratory flag with symbols that will remind you of Fayerweather and how much we'll miss you!
Class T-Shirt
Every year the graduating class is given a tee shirt that is designed around a significant event of the year - this year, of course, it was screens, screens, screens! We all Stayed apart, but will remain Always Together.
This was one of the early Mother Tongue Books, it was made in 2014 and features the graduating class when they were in Kindergarten. These books are written in Haitain Kreyòl, French and English and used by students at our Sister School, Matènwa in Haiti to help them learn to read in their Mother Tongue.
