Fifth grade was filled with tennis foursquare on the tennis court at the park. It was like foursquare but in two teams where we passed the ball back and forth trying to get it past the other team to score. Through these activities, I learned kindness and inclusion. But inclusion was not always easy. When it came to making up rules, we spent thirty minutes of recess arguing about rules and then finally agreed to rules we all only kind of liked, and realized we were only left with five minutes to actually play. But everyone had a say.

"When I sat down to write your introduction, my first thought was
of a Rubik’s Cube. You’re often seen with one and you’re remarkably
quick at solving them. As I understand it, the key to quickly solving a
Rubik’s Cube is to know the algorithm and to learn to go through the
steps increasingly quickly...."
