Nora

I started at Fayerweather in September 2014. There’s been six years between Eric and Brad’s 3-4 class and now. When I look back I am flooded with memories about my time at Fayerweather. I have had so many adventures. Being a blonde for a year, it was actually two years but that's just too embarrassing. Crying in Jenn’s Humanities simply because she put a photo of an ostrich on the projector. Playing Super Smash Bros on our DS on the school bus on our way to Wampanoag field trip. Although we were told not to bring our swimsuits, it just meant we swam fully clothed in the ocean and rode home soaking wet. In all school meeting, I still marvel that I had the guts to sing Justin Beiber’s “Boyfriend” in front of the whole school. I went from hating soccer to it now being my favorite sport.
Leaving Fayerweather is leaving my younger years behind me. As I go on to high school, it is a memory in my back pocket that I’ll keep with me forever.

"Nora, I don’t want to write this speech because it means you are going and
I’m not ready. There are so many stories left untold. I have so much to say
to you, so much to say about you, and yet whenever I go to write
something that sings your praises, I can see your face and hear your voice
in my head..."
