When I came to Fayerweather, I didn’t think I would make any close friends to make memories with because I would only be here for two years, and everyone already knew each other.
But I did. The teachers and other Unit kids were really welcoming, and some 8th graders I already knew introduced me to their friends. Over the next two years I would join the basketball team, go on the New York trip, and perform in the dance elective, and I made many good friends along the way. I realize now that I was making memories that whole time. It doesn’t matter who you’re with, what you’re doing, or where you are - even the most insignificant moment can end up being unforgettable.
