Affinity Group for White Parents and Caregivers: Unpacking Whiteness & Allyship

Join us for a series of three conversations on race where we will ask the questions: “What is Whiteness? What is structural racism? And what is allyship?" We will also develop and practice skills to engage in conversations about race with the children in our lives. All White parents and caregivers in our school community are welcome, regardless of the race of your child(ren) and whether you are well-versed in talking about racism or just beginning to learn. This will be a safe space where we honor privacy and personal boundaries and support each other in taking the next step in our antiracist journeys.

Dates: February 8, March 28, and April 25, from 6 PM to 8 PM. Childcare and dinner will be provided.
