Big Night Out Fayerweather Experience: Ceramics

Join potter extraordinaire and Fayerweather's own Lauren Mueller at Indigo Fire in Belmont for a group wheel-throwing workshop. Lauren will orient the participants and give a demonstration on the pottery wheel. You will then be given a set of tools, clay, and the go-ahead to start throwing. Lauren will be on hand to assist you along the way, and an abbreviated follow-up demonstration will happen partway through. You can expect to have about an hour and a half of throwing time on the wheel. Workshop participants may keep up to two pots each and will choose a glaze at the end of the workshop. Lauren will trim, glaze and fire your pottery in the following weeks and your creations will be available for pick-up at Fayerweather in about a month. Open to adults and students entering seventh grade and above with an adult (child and caregiver must have their own ticketed spot). This was sold out, but we do to schedules, we still have 4 spots available. Reserve your spot here. Questions? Contact Lauren (lauren@fayerweather.org).
