Fayerweather 2030: A Future of Purpose names what we're building toward and why. It's an ambitious plan, grounded in the conviction that the world needs what a Fayerweather education produces: children who think carefully, act with integrity, and know how to be in community with people unlike themselves. We invite you to read it, understand it, and hold us to it.
Founded in 1967, Fayerweather is an all-gender independent private school enrolling students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade and located in Cambridge, MA. Children here are taken seriously — as thinkers, as individuals, as people whose presence in the world already matters. They learn by doing real things, in real places, for real audiences. They become themselves, in community, over time.
