Impact Report
Since 1967, we have built our teaching around children’s questions, and that practice is still the school’s greatest strength. It lasts because a community chooses to keep it going. Every year, families, faculty, alumni, and friends give their time, talent, treasure, and testimony so that the next child can spend ten years among adults who know them well and take their thinking seriously.

Past Impact Reports
Founded in 1967, Fayerweather is an all-gender independent private school enrolling students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade and located in Cambridge, MA. Children here are taken seriously — as thinkers, as individuals, as people whose presence in the world already matters. They learn by doing real things, in real places, for real audiences. They become themselves, in community, over time.
