We are thrilled to announce this year’s student representatives to our Board of Directors! Please give a big Fayerweather welcome to Hanna, Anya, and Kavita!
Hanna – 11 years at FSS
My favorite thing about Fayerweather is the incredible sense of community we have in everything we do, from Fun Fest to All School Meetings, to learning in the classroom. That sense of community is everywhere.
I want to show and tell the board what it is like to be a student at Fayerweather so that they can help benefit student life for future years to come.
Anya – 7 years at FSS
My favorite part of FSS is the wonderful energy they have in all of the classrooms. The teachers are there, ready to support you and help fit your learning needs, which drew me to Fayerweather in the first place. By joining the board, I hope to give insight into what it is like to be a unit student at FSS and advocate for my peers and other grades. I hope I can accomplish my goals, and I'm so excited to take advantage of this great opportunity!
Kavita – 6 years at FSS
One of my very favorite things about my time at FSS is partaking in the Unit Play. It taught me how to work better in large groups and how to take more risks. Since it's my last year at Fayerweather, I hope to leave it in the best state possible and provide new ideas to help better improve the school.
