Supporting Fayerweather

In an independent school, voluntary giving by alumni, parents and friends helps close the gap between tuition and the real cost of educating a student, keeping tuition increases to a minimum. Community participation in our Annual Fund allows our school to grow and maintain the margin of excellence and innovation that distinguishes a Fayerweather education from all others. Your gifts sustain the student experience, support tuition aid, provide professional development and help directly in the classrooms.

“When people ask me why I came back to serve on the Fayerweather Board, I have no difficulty answering. The simplest explanation is that the school served my family extraordinarily well. My two quirky kids have grown into poised young women in large measure because they found a home here. I, too, found a home here during those years. I learned that committed parents, giving of their time, energy and money have made it possible for the fragile school that I first encountered back in 1993 to find a stable home here on Concord Avenue.”

~ Cindy Taft, Chair of the Board of Directors

By joining the FSS community –parents, grandparents, teachers and board members– in making a commitment to the school and its educational mission and goals, please know how critically important your gift is to the school and our students. We encourage you to help us achieve a high level of participation and volunteerism in support of the children and families of the Fayerweather Street School.
