Afterschool Band is an advanced ensemble and students need to have prior experience on an instrument to join it. The Afterschool Band meets weekly from January to June, performs at All School Meeting, the annual end of school party, Johnny D's Uptown Lounge and Records a CD at Jamspot in Somerville, MA, a professional recording studio.. Students choose most of the songs and participate in arranging the music and organizing the band.

Unit Afterschool Band is run by Rob Lee and occasionally if there is interest, a 5/6th Grade Afterschool Band run by Kate Lee.
