Each year the 5/6 classes spend three days at the Farm School in Athol Massachusetts. The Farm School is a an educational program that uses a working 130 acre farm as their classroom. The farm is home to cows, horses, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, and most importantly, an amazing group of educators who make every experience memorable. “Careful mentoring, meaningful work, humor and kindness are at the center of all we do.” is a quote from the Farm School's mission statement.

During our stay students care for animals, fix farm equipment, plant crops, collect sap, boil syrup, chop wood, cook meals and wash dishes. They become stewards of the land and animals. The opportunity to to wake up, share meals, work hard, play enthusiastically and nestle in together for the evening creates new connections within our community. We look forward to this trip every year.
