You’ve read The Big Red Barn cover to cover. You’ve studied Moo, Baa, La-La-La until
you prance in your sleep. You’ve taken the kids to Drumlin Farms so many times,
the chickens run at the sound of your car. But you have never, ever seen anything
like Eastman Hill Stock Farm. Cows? Of course. Sheep? Indubitably. Horses, pigs,
cut fields, stone walls and apple trees? Sure. But how about a wood paneled theater
with stage and costumes? How about an indoor trampoline and pool table? How about
a library, and formal diningroom, and a giant moosehead hanging over one of 8 fireplaces?
Plus you can help feed the animals, gather eggs, milk the cows, or make cider. All
of which means that the whole family—from lazy old Dad who just wants to read his
books, to fitness-crazed Mom who wants fresh air and exercise, to the sugar-addled
kids who want to chase anything that moves—will have a great time. Three days, two
nights, can sleep three families comfortably! What fun! No TVs, phones or electronics.
