Five years ago, the FSS Board of Directors committed to completing an expansion
that would enhance the school’s excellent education program by giving the school
the physical space it needed to more fully deliver its program. In the summer of
2002 we built a new science lab and classroom plus enlarged the art studio and installed
a kiln. In the spring of 2004, the path to the park was completed enriching recess,
sports electives and a myriad of other outdoor possibilities. Finally, in the summer
of 2006, Fayerweather expanded the library, upgraded to a full-size gym and created
the Unit wing to accommodate our growing upper school. While we are living the benefits
of the Capital Campaign every day, Fayerweather is still accepting tax-deductible
donations to pay down debt and loans associated with the expansion. If you would
