Yes.  Aid is given on the basis of need. Families interested in tuition aid should request an application from the Admissions Office or the Business Office. Approximately 27% of the students at Fayerweather receive tuition aid, representing about 15% of the school's tuition revenue. See Tuition Assistance for further information.

What is the tuition?
Tuition for the 2009-10 school year will be set at the February 2009 meeting of the school's Board of Directors. Please call the school to inquire about current tuition and fees.

How are admissions decisions made?
Fayerweather admits students of diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds, learning styles, and family structures. While admissions criteria are inclusive, we encourage applications from families who support the mission and values of the school. Applications are reviewed by the Admissions Committee. Decisions are based on a thorough and thoughtful assessment of each applicant. Fayerweather gives priority to siblings of students that are currently enrolled.

When are families notified?
Letters notifying families of our decision are mailed on March 10th. Families have a month to enroll their children. Fayerweather does maintain an unranked wait list of applicants from which to fill any vacancies that may occur unexpectedly over the spring or summer.
